RE: Resource Investor : AB royalty.......

RE: Resource Investor : AB royalty.......Those are the musings of a fool, the fact that you are in favor of raising the taxes on your employer implies an even greater fool. The agreement was in place if you have any integrity you abide by the rules not change them 1/2 way thru after you suck everyone in. Where does it stop? The Canadian gov't has been on a undeclared war on the Oil and gas sector for a year, first the trust rape, then the proposed royalty screw job, and now they are contemplating limiting the takeovers further constraining the opportunity for the investors to make up their losses from the aforementioned blunders. How many legs do you think they can chop off before they destroy the investment atmosphere. Its already been severely damaged by their meddling do they want total devastation? IF you think that this isn't helping hold the down the price of BQI then you are a complete fool! Why because politicians will always press the taxation issue beyond reason. If they can do it in Alberta how long before they use that as an excuse in other provinces to jack up the taxes. Look at history and tell me otherwise. Yeah thats just genius the reason the companies are cutting back has to do with POOR RETURNS and changes in the CanRoy Trusts... DUH. Bottom line investors need to earn a decent return and comparing the returns on Canadian Oil and Gas companies with their competitors (stock price) is not a favorable comparison for those invested in Canada. You don't attract investment by flogging the investors.
