RE: China halts reforestation?Tehre are also areas that qualify as desert...rather than farmland. And folks over there also need to eat. You would be best to contact the ceo re concerns. However Indonesia for eg..was going to do a massive reforestation project...(yes I know different area of the globe)..but there as well it is an issue. In Mongolia..desertification from mining is a huge issue. And presumably there would be nothing to prevent a corner of the greenhouse area to be used for other plants..eg mkt produce /flowers...in fact one of the much earlier NR's made a reference in passing to this..although the gist of the op..is trees trees and more trees of course. China has huge concerns re pollution and accompanying issues...and farmland use would be only one small part of the puzzle. again imo.
