RIM and ROIcheck out route1 (ROI) WWW.ROUTE1.COM they just signed an OEM agreement today with Novatel wireless to embed their Mobinet security and identity management software into Novatels compact USB wireless modems. this Mobinet service enables users to access there desktop resources anywhere in the world, without their data ever leaving their corporate firewal. I beleive this could also be a great avenue for Rim. no persnal or corporate data would ever have to be stored on the Blackberry for one example. check out this link
