RE: delisting
RE: delistingI can because bio has a business to run..and needs to get its NR out...And by voluntarily delisting...they are making an orderly departure...there are a lot of little ocmpanies who have delisted and moved on. It is much better to be proactive than to be shoved.
I fail to see how this helps bio...further...beyond sanctions again...what has the tsxv. brought to the table this time..that would further the business interests of bio? There were issues before ..they were remedied...so what could it be now?
Bio has to focus its energies on its business..It has tried hard to make this match work. The directors who were newly recruited would have had to think long and hard...because of their backgrounds re tsx.v..re this move...esp long and hard...so since they have indicated that the current situation is untenable for bio...then I would suspect they have good reason. Remember these directors are taking this decision knowing that it may very well impact on their further re approvals as directors for any other tsx.v listed company...if they were to be mentioned...So this is a huge extra consideration personally that they would have had to balance. And they would have had the experience as well to assess whether the current punitive action was reasonable and resolvable...and balance this against the business needs of bio. Remember bio still has regultory standards with several bodies in Canada..despite the request to leave the tsx.v. At a certain point bio has to move on...and get on with its business.
