Meridian Gold has posted a 43-101 compliant report on the Rossi joint venture with Barrick on sedar.com 10/12/07. Meridian paid mining engineers to verify a report from Barrick on the property and generate a separate report. For those interested, it should be a good prelude to what we can expect if Barrick is able to spend the $30m for their 70% clawback option. While the geology will probably differ somewhat, you can get a feel for the mining issues and costs as both Pinson and Rossi are underground deposits accessed through inactive pits, with ore that will probably be processed at an existing off site processing facility rather than having an on site roaster/autoclave/mill.
