RE: one more thing brit

RE: one more thing britI think I said "bye for now", never called you a basher either, what are you paranoid? I simply said back then your posts seem to be fear mongering without substance. Since then you have gone into a new realm of fear mongering without substance trying to compare the oil industry renegotiations to that of mining. I feel that is way off base, the oil renegotiations have been planned since Correa stepped into ofice. (he has kept his word) The mining plans have been very open and are going in the right direction with stakeholder input. Peru and Chile are the models for the new legislation going forward, both these countries have mining regs that make sense and have been quite successful in attracting foreign investment. Have you even read the interview that the Minister of Mining Galo Chiriboga gave in the last month or so? Did you read Patrick Anderson's recap of the meetings held with the government and industry just a couple of weeks ago? If you did, then your suggestions are in escence saying that the Country is full of crap as is the President of ARU. Some call it bashing I call it very weak fear mongering. So before you open your yap with the "what ifs" and the "Oh My gods"! maybe try do a little research, your lack of it exposes your ignorance or your motives. (I am still not sure which one to pick)
