RE: An Insider Not Tendering to Century ....

RE: An Insider Not Tendering to Century ....halfcentman Quote: Precarious for both parties. It's a risky deal for both parties. However, the risk for CMM is they could lose a few million. The risk for SUE is many more years in litigation with either CMM or Algamarca. This will break SUE eventually. halfcentman Quote: And no the offer is not fair. Sulliden has invested quite a bit of money and made the discovery. In your calculation have you factored this in. Yes, I have factored it in. At the end of the day these facts cannot be disputed; 1. The offer is being made in context to the current share price of SUE, beaten down because there is a possibility they could lose Shahuindo. 2. SUE management took a huge risk when they invested 30 million dollars in a property where the legal title was being decided in the courts. I find this fact very hard to understand. halfcentman Quote: Century has yet to step foot on the property and yet lay claim to it. Has Century drilled it yet? Has Algamarca for that matter? That does not matter because the title is still yet to be decided. The courts don't care and the market doesn't care. If anyone did care the value would be depicted in the shareprice. Anyone investing in SUE before CMM came along had to understand that they could lose it all. halfcentman Quote: What gets under my skin is that Century has made a deal to pay Algamarca a 2% royalty. For doing what? For some SUE shareholders this may be a problem but it's still before the courts as to whether or not Algamarca should have owned all of Shahunido. Here's another point of view. What if you're an investment banker holding millions of shares in SUE for about 4 years. It's conceivable that they could have lost 80 percent of their investment. At this point they might be very happy to have a crack at recouping their investment via a CMM/SUE merger. What do they care if Algamarca gets 2% NSR as long as they can get their investment back? halfcentman Quote: The number starts a $200 million for Sulliden if your looking for my vote. SUE won't be getting your vote then. halfcentman Quote: Any word on when we can expect the offer. Do you think Century has 20% of the votes yet. If so, do tell. I'm told it's coming so I can only believe it is. If it's not I don't understand why CMM would make the announcment. At the end of the day it's a complicated problem but if one throws out anger, frustration, dreams, and wishes, we're left with the facts of today. There has to be a compromise and the offer as stated gives hope to everyone who is stuck in the mud.
