Torq Resources Inc. is a Canada-based copper and gold exploration company with a portfolio of holdings in Chile. The Company's projects include Santa Cecilia and Margarita. The Santa Cecilia mineral exploration project is a 3,250-hectare property located approximately 100 kilometers (kms) east of the city of Copiapo, Chile, in the southern region of the world-class Maricunga belt and immediately north of the El Indio belt. The belt is characterized by gold epithermal and gold-copper porphyry deposits. The Margarita Iron-Oxide-Copper-Gold (IOCG) project is comprised of approximately 1,445 hectares and is located in Chile, 65 kms north of the city of Copiapo with access to infrastructure. The property is located within the prolific Coastal Cordillera belt that hosts the world-class Candelaria (Lundin Mining Corp.) and Mantoverde (Mantos Copper Holding) IOCG mines, and porphyry-skarn deposits such as Santo Domingo (Capstone Mining Corp.) and Inca de Oro (PanAust/Codelco).

Millions on Advertising

Millions on AdvertisingThe wave continues... I am sure you all have now seen at least one of the adds that Visa is running, showing society moving efficiently, with happy shoppers, and continuous movement as they "swipe" there Visa cards... Well, this is IMHO all part of a much larger "advertising movement" by Visa, who I truly believe is setting the stage psychologicaly to consumers... These adds, and others like them are "prepping" the masses for what Visa knows is comming. I believe this because of the subtle differences in the adds as they have come out... The first of these "coggs are turning" adds showed the "coggs stopping" and the shoppers that caused the breakdowns still using cash... Now jump ahead... The Christmas adds have started for 2007... Christmas shoppers, like elves in a workshop, shopping quickly and smoothly, untill a "mom" pulls out her checkbook to pay, with her two little "angels" along side... Everything stops, all of the workers and the other shoppers (her peirs) look disscusted, and then,,, She RELISES her MISTAKE, quickly pulling out her VISA, at which point she gets positive recognition from everyone... The other shoppers, the workers, and probably the most subliminal message to all of us... great big smiles from her two little munchkins... In the older visa adds, the shoppers that used cash or a check, never switched to the card... The message is clear... Don't use the card, be a looser, use the card, be PERFECT... I think these new adds were planned before the first adds ever came out... This is all mass media psychological timing and advertisement... Message... USE VISA, and: -Get your shopping done with no hassles -Get you Christmas shopping done fast (Christmas is very important to the economy as I'm sure you all know) -Be accepted by all of your peirs for being up to speed with technology and TRENDINESS -Have a happy family if you use the quick and easy all mighty VISA I can only imagine the amount of money and planning that goes into these advertising campains... They hire consultants that help them plan out strategies using child and adult and family psychology, timing, product introduction, branding, etc etc... Think how much money will be spent to convince consumers to be the first on their blocks to use RFID, to not be left behind, etc etc... This, although a long post, and a little bit of a conspiracy theory, I believe to be more true than many of us might think... It is comming... And remember... When it does, "Sirit will be there" Come on 2007,2008,2009, 2010 and beyond!!!! Cussy, the Windsurfer:) PS... Sorry for the longwinded post... I just get a little exsirited about Sirit!
