ProAm names Trueman director, Davidson CFO
2007-10-19 15:37 ET - News Release
Mr. Donald MacDonald reports
ProAm Exploration Corp. has appointed Dr. David L. Trueman, PGeo, to the board of directors of ProAm. Further, it has appointed Donald I. MacDonald as a vice-president. W. Rex Davidson, a current director of ProAm, will assume the role of chief financial officer.
The addition of Dr. Trueman, PGeo, to the board, in addition to current director James A. Currie, PEng, provides ProAm with an outstanding human resource team to oversee the exploration and development of the Pifher and Miner Lake properties recently acquired in the Beardmore area of Ontario where the Kodiak Hercules project is attracting considerable attention. The Pifher property, which encompasses roughly 8,000 acres, is located contiguous to the Kodiak Hercules project on the southwest and the west. The Miner Lake property of approximately 2,000 acres lies to the immediate north of the Pifher property -- both are situated along the Onaman gold belt. ProAm considers these properties to have excellent potential given the fact that they are on strike with the structures containing the gold mineralization found by Kodiak at its Hercules project. This potential is corroborated by a report issued by the Ontario Geologic Survey (OGS) in 2006, noting highly anomalous gold and copper values in selected chip samples.
ProAm will conduct an on-ground reconnaissance in the next few weeks to confirm the OGS findings, including a preliminary mapping and sampling program.
ProAm has also granted 400,000 stock options at 18.5 cents each, exercisable until Oct. 19, 2012, to the new directors and officers as noted above.
