I would like to tell a personal story that could be a warning to others. It makes me look like a total Idiot, but than it does not matter as nobody knows me here.
Beginning of August I started to loose big amounts of Money, 150 000 to 250 000 a day. In 2Weeks I had lost 1,500,000 Dollars.. I started to freak out.For the last few days I couldn't sleep good. It felt as if I was bleeding to death and couldn't stop the blood.
I now realized what James Dines meant when he talks about the Stock market being a monster that will try to kill you.
For Days I was wrestling with this Monster and went trough all the Emotion of Greed and Fear.
I still had 3 000 000M.left,enough to live the rest of my life So at this Point I panicked and put my Portfolio up for sale at Market price,than watched as Gold dropped 22 Dollars in a couple hours.I shut everything off and went for a long walk.
When I come back the Market was closed and I had lost another 400 000 that Day.
I spent the Weekend thinking how to reinvest my remaining cash. Putting it all into Gold Coins came up or putting it at 5 to7% in a foreign Bank and live of the interest came to my mind. On Monday The News of Fed Interest drop came out.
Meanwhile I had realized that I felt like a heroin addict with out drugs.I had gone Cold Turkey as they say,I felt useless. No more reading on Internet. Nothing to do,On Monday I made up a quick List of stocks and jumped back in at Market Price.I felt like a fish back in the water. It was a spiritual experience,I am happy to say that things worked out allright.
I have made 1 300 000 M. back in the last 2 Months.I almost caught up with my old Portfolio and I think I will overtake it soon.
Let this be a warning in terms of emotional Panic selling and never underestimate the stress as your Net worth grows. When I played with smaller amounts I never felt the strain but when you start loosing and gaining 100 000 to300 000 Thousand a Day and you put that amount in terms of what it could buy for you it becomes freaky.How many Harley's,how many Motor homes etc.gone in one Day.I feel good being back in but I now am more careful if that is possible. I am now 80% in Gold and Silver,hoping that in a crush I might survive if I hold on.U will maybe make more Money but Gold is safer in this uncharted Waters laying ahead of us.I think that we will have a possibility of crash within the next 12 month,sorry to sound so negative,sorry.
The World is in a financial Mess created by Greed in the Central Banks,Hedge funds,Wallstreet, Chinese,Japanese and World Markets,High Oil Prices,Stupid and cruel Wars by that Hitler clone George Bush and his Mafia Buddies,do I sound frustrated?Well I am.
