Hi Sim6041 Ok, Ok, I was listening to your points of view... at least until you got to your vitriolic and inaccurate rant about the Alberta royalty debate... Alberta like Venezuela?? The military on their side?? Get real - your's is just inflated hyperbole... And be clear, not all Albertans support your views... Most Alberta citizens (ie the shareholders in this corporation called Alberta) do want to get the most for the sale of our assets and we do want our management team to protect the our interests and not the private interest... To the extent that subsidies were necessary and prudent to stimulate the development of the tar sands 20 to 30 years ago may have been an acceptable public policy decision... But do the multinational oil corporations still need these extraordinary subsidies??? Particularly while posting mind blowing profits!!! Adam Smith would be rolling in his grave...
