ACADIAN MINING RECEIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR LISTING ON TORONTO STOCK EXCHANGE

MOVE TO SENIOR EXCHANGE EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 1, 2007

Halifax, Nova Scotia CANADA, October 29, 2007 /FSC/ - Acadian Mining Corporation (TSX - VX: ADA, FWB: C2Z), ("Acadian" or "Corporation") announced today it has received final approval for the listing of its Common Shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX"). Acadian's shares will continue to trade under the symbol "ADA" and will begin trading on the TSX at the opening of business on November 1, 2007.
