Bad simile?

Watching this stock move is like watching a salmon going upstream. you have the calm water when the going up stream is quick and easy. Then come the rapids, a little harder to move in , but passable. Then the hard part the water falls. They go up, get knocked back, go up get knocked back quite a few times before (yup) THE BEARS move in, but even they can't stop them all. Sure they catch and eat up a few of the weaker unsuspecting ones. But the strong, and focused ones make it to the breading grounds where they have their fun. And then die. But richer for the ordeal.
