NOT is NRN''s "area play"...lolExcept for NRN's layered intrusion targets, the little scattered shows like Noront's rinky-dink little flasher (sorry, I mean "amazing discovery") remind me of Raglan in the Ungava Peninsula in Northern Quebec. Xstrata has a very rich mining operation there: same ingredients as Noront's promopety (sorry, I mean "gargantuan stupefind") i.e. Nickel-Copper-PGEs but their mining grades are about triple what NOT announced, and the Raglan mine and adjacent undeveloped deposits have 8 or 10 million tonnes, not NOTs pocketfull of loose change (sorry, I mean "incredible orebody"). Raglan has many other showings like Xstrata's deposits, exactly the same ingredients, but regrettably much, much smaller, much lower grade. CZZ seems to have the best of these for now, but their richest showing, the Mesamax deposit, is still less than 2 million tonnes and that at only half Xstrata's grades.
My point is this: somebody needs to find at least what Xstrata has at Raglan (a-single-orebody-10 million-tonnes-8%-Nickel-equivalent-deposit) in the James Bay Lowlands before anybody has anything worth developing there.
The market has it all backwards: NOT needs to become NRN's area play, because NRN is the ONLY player in the region with a big enough target to justify putting in infrastructure if they hit. NOT lovers, you're actually placing a bet on NRN with your stock, whether you know it or not, and I find that to be deliciously ironic...hahaha...wish us luck, you need us more than we need you.
I don't normally bash the dreamer's-only hype-stocks like Noront, but you and your windbag management came into NRNs backyard and pis*sed there, so you're fair game to me: mining scams like NOT are one of the great evils of the Canadian stock market and are truly sickening. Have some SWG tea with your BreX sandwich and I sincerely hope you choke on it...
