RE: RE: Murders at Yellow KnifeYes she will be able to pull it off. Pine Point is just ~200 km south (maybe less) of Yellowknife, I don't know if it has a lot of permafrost but they do construct an ice bridge at Fort Providence to cross the Mackenzie River and ice roads out to Ekati and Diavik and some of the outlying communities so it's not like it doesn't get cold there in the winter. The R190 deposit is located underneath a swamp/bog wetland so with a little help from nature and todays technology I think it is possible. My biggest question(concerns) are how far away are the satellite deposits they want to mine using the R190 infrastrucure? When I left Yellowknife Giant used to consider the 300,000 tons of arsenic trioxide left underground as ore reserves as they contained ~0.3 oz/ton. If Royal Oak had not overextended themselves building Kemess just as copper and gold were going down while BC had a strong NDP gov't I believe Peggy would have bought Miramar's Con mine and processed the arsenic in their autoclave. She is a metallurgist by profession. She likes to make money and she'll try anything. As for for CMM's trouble in Val D'Or those mines were always dogs they have been trouble before she showed up but she probably thought she could turn them around. She had good luck at Giant and Pamour in Timmins.Only time will tell.
