News Release

News ReleaseNovember 19, 2007 MDN Inc.: New High-Grade Gold Intersections and New Mineralized Zones at Viyonza-Tanzania High grade of 19.39 g/t Au over 2.29m MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 19, 2007) - MDN Inc. ("MDN") (TSX:MDN) is pleased to announce the latest high-grade intersections from its drilling program on the Viyonza project located at 15 km north of the Tulawaka Gold Mine in Tanzania. These results clearly indicate the continuity of the mineralized horizons, opened laterally and at depth. A program consisting of 1,434 metres in 10 diamond drill holes ("DD") holes, 2,000 metres in 20 reverse circulation drill holes ("RC") holes, 2,296 metres in 48 rotary air blast drill holes ("RAB") was completed in September and October at Viyonza to define the mineralization in "Block A" and better understand the controlling geological structures. The RC and RAB holes respectively increased the size of the gold discovery in Block A and identified new gold structures at distances of 3 and 4 km. Main mineralized zone in Block A Primary gold mineralization in block A is dominantly hosted by quartz veins associated to sulphides within shear zones dominantly in the gabbro and in mafic tuff close to a granodiorite intrusion. Visible gold was seen in holes NTDD-03 and NTDD-04. Mineralization is steeply dipping and true thicknesses of the intersections are 90% or more of the intersected lengths. Best results are listed in the table below. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From To Intersected Grade Drill hole (m) (m) Width (m) (g/t Au) Location and comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTDD-01 32.00 34.00 2.0 9.91 Block A - Section 400W: twinning NTRAB-14 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- and 72.60 73.00 0.4 1.89 New intersection at depth --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTDD-02 37.00 37.50 0.5 7.40 Block A - Section 400 W --------------------------------------------------------------------------- and 82.00 83.00 1.0 1.24 Extension at depth --------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From To Intersected Grade Drill hole (m) (m) Width (m) (g/t Au) Location and comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTDD-03 1.00 4.30 3.3 4.47 Block A - Section 400W: twinning NTRAB-16 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- and 28.80 29.50 0.7 22.00 Extension at depth --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTDD-04 41.80 42.30 0.5 22.90 Block A - Section 450 W --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTDD-05 47.00 49.29 2.29 19.39 Block A - Section 450 W --------------------------------------------------------------------------- including 47.00 48.00 1.0 39.70 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTDD-06 70.00 71.30 1.3 8.17 Block A - Section 450 W --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTDD-07 6.00 7.00 1.0 1.72 Block A - Section 350 W --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTDD-08 16.50 17.00 0.5 1.72 Block A - Section 350 W --------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTDD-10 61.00 63.00 2.0 1.02 Block A - Section 350 W --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTRC-60 0.00 1.00 1.0 1.34 Block A - Section 250 W --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTRC-75 95.00 97.00 2.0 17.00 Block A - Section 500 W --------------------------------------------------------------------------- including 95.00 96.00 1.0 32.90 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTRC-76 59.00 65.00 6.0 1.07 Block A - Section 500 W --------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- New mineralized zones At 400m NW of the Main Zone, drill holes NTRC-70 and NTRC-71 intersected several mineralized zones including one at 11.60 g/t Au over 1 m. RAB drillings were used to test other targets. They identified two new gold structures. At 3.2 km northeast of the main zone, drill hole NTRAB-36 intersected 6.06 g/t Au over 5m including 24.6 g/t Au over 1m. Best results are listed in the table below. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From To Intersected Grade Drill hole (m) (m) Width (m) (g/t Au) Location and comments --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTRC-70 50.00 51.00 1.0 1.38 Block A - West extension - section 850 W --------------------------------------------------------------------------- and 67.00 68.00 1.0 7.45 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- and 74.00 75.00 1.0 4.55 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- and 81.00 82.00 1.0 2.75 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTRC-71 37.00 38.00 1.0 11.60 Block A - West extension - section 850 W --------------------------------------------------------------------------- and 98.00 99.00 1.0 1.28 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTRAB-36 11.00 16.00 5.0 6.06 Block B - 3.2 km NE of Main Zone --------------------------------------------------------------------------- including 14.00 15.00 1.0 24.60 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NTRAB-57 34.00 41.00 7.0 2.60 Block D - 4.0 km SE of Main Zone --------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The discovery of these new zones gives a new perspective as to the importance of the Viyonza mineralization. The results of the 2007 program, combined with the two previous drilling programs on Viyonza in 2006 (see November 15 press release) and in 2005 (see October 18 press release), justify a follow-up drilling program at the beginning of 2008. Before that, a fill-in soil geochemistry survey will be completed. From now to the end of 2007, drillings will remain focused on the Isambara project, another MDN priority in Tanzania, to complete the third phase. New results should be released soon. The 102.9 km2 Viyonza project was optioned from Tanzanian Royalty Exploration Corporation. Samples were analyzed by fire assay at the SGS laboratories in Tanzania, certified under international standards. A rigorous program of analytical grade verification implemented by MDN included 12% control samples. Technical information in this release was reviewed by geologist Dominique Fournier, Ph.D., who acted as a qualified person in accordance with NI 43-101. MDN Inc. is a Montreal-based Canadian exploration company that holds a 30% participation in the Tulawaka Gold Mine (Tanzania). Its main exploration activities are carried out in Quebec through gold and base metal interests and in Tanzania through a majority interest in 20 adjacent mineral licenses.
