RE: PM''s up, PM stocks down - the reasonI believe the reason PM stocks fall even when the PM's are up is because everyone is selling to meet margin calls on the stuff they hold outside of PM stocks (ie banks). Whenever the S&P goes down the PM stocks will fall too.
