Rig handler update

Rig handler updateThe last days the rig handlers were at anchor at Aberdeen bay, possibly waiting for better weather to move the rig into position. The have to move it a long way NW, usual speed is between 2-4 knots. If the wind is too strong, they won't make it. So it is quite probable that they waited for better weather conditions. One of the vessels (the Anglian Earl) just left its anchor position with destination Galaxy II, about half an hour ago. Expected time of arrival there is 01:30am (GMT), that is in about 4 hours. You can watch its movements here: https://www.aisliverpool.org.uk/shiptrail.php?mmsi=314166000 The other vessel I know of, is the Taurus. It moved from an anchor position near to the Anglian Earl to Aberdeen Harbour this noon (GMT). Possibly to pick up some fresh food and fuel, or to give the staff a break. As of now, it is still moored in Aberdeen. I would expect the vessel to start the trip to the rig shortly. Realtime position for the Taurus here: https://www.aisliverpool.org.uk/shiptrail.php?mmsi=314166000 Revised spud date for friday or weekend sounds reasonable.
