All samples were delivered to Accurassay Laboratories Thunder Bay Ontario, an ISO 17025 certified laboratory, for assay using standard fire assay with atomic absorption finish. Rejects and pulps of the samples are stored at the laboratory in Thunder Bay.
Hole SC-07-01: was completed west of the shaft between the 46 metre (150 feet) and 92 metre (300 feet) levels.
Hole SC-07-02: was completed west of the shaft just below the 92 metre (300 feet) level.
Hole SC-07-03: was completed west of the shaft above the 46 metre (150 feet) level.
Hole SC-07-04: The Hole intersected the gold bearing zone mineralization at approximately 126 metres (413.2 feet) which represents a significant step out of approximately 100 metres east of the past producing mine workings.
The workings were accessed by a decline (1983/84) and shaft (1950's). The working levels at 46 metres (150 feet) and 92 metres (300 feet) were accessed by the decline that terminated at the 110 metre (350 foot) level. Mining occurred over an approximately 215 metre (705 feet) strike length producing 15,400 oz of gold from 70,000 tons.
David Sim President, of the Company comments: "These exciting initial results show that the extension of the gold mineralized extends to the east, past the old workings. Superior's exploration team looks forward to pending assay results with optimism, while continuing an aggressive diamond drilling and exploration program on the O'Sullivan Lake gold project".
A map illustrating the completed and proposed drilling program and land base is posted on the Company's website at www.superiorcanadian.ca., under heading of Projects (O'Sullivan Lake Gold Project).
Planned Diamond Drill Program:
The present program is budgeted to complete a minimum of 3000 metres of diamond drilling, focused on testing, the extensions of the gold bearing structures on strike and down dip of the previously mined areas of the Consolidated Louanna Gold mine and the continuation of the structures onto the 100 % owned Company lands.
The diamond drilling program and preparation of this press release are under the direct supervision and responsibility of Des Cullen P. Geo. and Garry J. Clark P. Geo. both Qualified Persons as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
