The Australian ConnectionThe reason I'm interested in what they say in Australia about real estate is that it is increasingly an international story. Example last summer's news:
ING's publicly traded Australian REIT is buying 50% of Summit with its parent corporation, ING Real Estate, buying the other half. ING has an international portfolio worth $105-billion in 17 countries but does not own property in Canada.
If the Aussies are talking again, my ears perk up!
