RE: The TSX sucks today.....Resolutions

RE: The TSX sucks today.....ResolutionsLessons I learned the hard way? Falling in love ith a stock. Although I have made a few bucks on this one, could've made a LOT more on the peaks and dips - traded about 20% of my holdings, shoudlve traded the whole sheebang. Forget trying to get in before the mo-mo crowd weeks before, wait until the NR is coming, the stock is actually moving, and join the herd. You wont be buying the lows, but you wont have dead money either. Not knowing when to take a small loss and move on, you have to ask yourself would I buy this stock at this price everyday. Being greedy. Ohhh theres more here I know it. When you are telling yourself that, THERE IS NO MORE SELL DAMNIT. ahhahaha. When it comes to assay releases, sell on news, always - if the news is released before the bell or during a halt. 90% of the time the short-term highs will be within 10 minutes of trade resumption. Buy on mystery, sell on history. Do not sell your entire position right away, wait a half day or so until the hubub dies down. Biggest mistake of '07?? Buying MEDIMIRA the day that news release came out, thinking "whoa thats gonna make $$$" holding on to it for most of the day seeing no activity thinking WTF??? then dumping it at 16 cents or so for a cool 2 cent gain. This stock would then go on to $1.40 or so. Ended up buying back at 50 cents the next day and dumping at around 83 cents. Left an unbelievable amount of $$ on the table. I knew it was a pump n dump and so I was a bit sketchy. Another good mistake was setting my sell order of VMS at $1.77. It went to $1.76 then promptly crashed all the way down to 80 cents. I ended up bailing at $1.19-$1.40ish snd recently bought back in just over a buck. What else have I done wrong... hmmm... there are numerous other small blunders. Anyway good for a laugh, every single trading day am i kicking myself about something, so have a beer and a valium and relax, you will never bowl 300 either.
