RE: RE: New Mike Hoy article on AUA,,,
RE: RE: New Mike Hoy article on AUA,,,Ok folks I have just returned from the store and now have in my hand, a new pair of dancing shoes, a set of train tickets (from last year when it was about to leave the station) and that all important "chart of a mine development" document that I will use as the route map (or toilet paper which ever need comes first).
I am all set for that big journey to riches and to watch the big houses participate in the professional pumpers ball.......... where the dance steps are in tune with the three-clicks of the heals and accompanied moan-filled chants of "There is no place like home; there is no place like home"...
Well this ain't Kansas folks and Dorothy and Toto are not sitting in the wings. If this in fact is truly a dance where the pre-pubescent dance partners are quivering in the corners, then maybe its time someone got out there and sold them on the concept and benefits of dancing and stop doing the "Bird Dance Poka" on the internet as a means to convince them otherwise....
Yesterday's article although interesting, very informative and filled with awesome facts did add another terrible metaphor to the list of things that have been pumped at us as longs in the past. Mike Hoy in my mind is a credible writer and I am bewildered as to why he would stoop to such metaphors so as to describe the investment business community as shy and quivering boner rendering school kids. Ok I admit, I threw in the boner part ....but you know what I mean.
I think back to a time where the late CrazyDiamond told us "the train was about the leave the station". That was just after the BFS was announced where I do have to admit that little train-engine did pop its head out of the station to the tune of 2.90 for a second or so and then settled nicely back to the mid 2buck mark. Mike actually called it right back then...(guess today we might say the train saw its shadow??).....
Ok now I am wound up - how about that "hey look at the life of a mine development chart and shut up for a year" - that was probably my favorite piece of work. Are you folks feeling a little obsfucated yet? Here's a hint, one should only use that word when one learns how to spell it.....
For those of you that got down this far, please allow me to apologize for this diatribe but I really get miffed when I read oversimplifications about the issues at hand from those that should be well connected into the market as part of their roles. I agree with Mike Hoy's reasons about why the SP is such and why the bigs are not buying in. What I don't get is why our good management team does not understand that this issue is an information and communications matter that they own entirely; and for heaven's sake please hire someone to fill that skills gap already.
One last comment - "Hey Mr MolyMaid - are we still on track for four bucks by Christmas?"
Have a good weekend all.
