You will not regret investing in AOS and STP  and some other oilsands investments, but you need to do lots of homework.  With your knowledge you shouldn't have a problem.
 
If you believe that world economy will not go to recession you should do very well in oilsands.
Entry level is probably gone but it is always good to get in at this level.
