RE: Up and comer of the year in 2008I agree on both fronts... financing terms were generous and may keep a lid on the stock come late April. I suspect the fact that the financing was left so late in the year had something to do with to juicy pricing and warrants. Few people have even heard of Bridge at this stage, and Durango drilling and testing in the Feb-Mar window will likely get a few people to notice. The wildcard is how well received North Piper is... I'd argue that if a company like CGX Energy can carry a $300 million plus market cap on a play that they'll likely only end up with 25%-35% of and won't be drilling until 2009, that BUK could gather a fair bit of attention if North Piper is noticed by a broader audience. I'd argue that North Piper is reasonably low-risk in terms of exploration wells (3d coverage, oil shows directly down dip, clear evidence of a Piper sand pinch-out in the area) and man, what an option to have...
Should be interesting watching Bridge become more commonly known in the weeks and months ahead.
