RE: This market sucks....

RE: This market sucks....I agree 100%, and it would seem being very selective within the junior market would me more important than ever right now. One of the many reasons to like MDR, (imho), is that management has a very good track record of not issuing endless paper. However, even though the topic of dilution seems to come up every now and then -- it rarely gets the attention it deserves. The venture exchange has been diluted in a massive way over the past 7 years or so, and it's difficult to find data dating back to the beginning of the decade to show just how bad it is. The venture chart may appear to look quite good over that time, but what would the venture chart look like if it was based on market caps? From Oct 2005 to June of 2006 the venture exchange was up about 60%, the market caps of the venture exchange companies were up about 105% over the same period. I follow a junior o/g company that's share price has gone up about 40% in the past 8 years, however, the shares issued has gone from 5 million out to 110 million out over the same period....very misleading if your not looking at the most important piece of data for valuations. It doesn't appear the MDR will need to finance again anytime soon, and with no cheap warrants floating around we know exactly where we stand with this one. I'm still holding with the view that Lindero alone justifies the current mkt cap.....but who knows? Good luck longs,
