RE: Weekend Musings …I agree with your speculation.  This stock is ripe for a bid from one of the big defence players.  With the recent defence spending binge in the US, the big boys all have a lot of cash and their boardrooms must be buzzing with talk of acquisitions.

But if not, I still think that VRS is a worthy investment, with a solid balance sheet and good potential for future business growth.  The stock price was unfairly punished by one piece of bad news last November, but with a couple of quarters of solid performance in the first half of 2008, we should see it come back to a more realistic valuation.  In the meantime, buy 'em while they're cheap!
