Rough diamond prices up 3.5%https://www.diamonds.net/news/NewsItem.aspx?ArticleID=20246 RAPAPORT... The Diamond Trading Company (DTC) will raise its rough diamond prices by 3.5 percent at its January 2008 sight, the company informed sightholders. “The increase will focus on the higher end range of rough and other areas of strong demand,” DTC said in a statement. The first sight of the calendar year is scheduled for next week, January 14 to 18. DTC said it would review its prices in February, May and August to align with major trade fairs and key selling periods. “The DTC will continue, as it has done in the second half of 2007, to amend its prices according to its assessment of the prevailing market conditions,” DTC said.
