RE: snif~sni~ AAahhh.... I love the smell of....heh, there was definitely some short covering going on there, no doubt about it and they were burned. I can't recall exactly, but I believe there were about 2.5M shorts around that time. On the four trading days from the 12th to the 18th, however, the volume was 13M, 12M, 11M, 11M. So, the short squeeze was just that - a squeeze that was chasing the price up, not driving it up. As for claims of naked shorting, I have not put forward such a notion myself, but I would not discount it -- especially for a stock that is trading on the pinks. I doubt there's much chance that it's going on on the venture, however. It's going to be interesting to see what happens going forward. I'll be shocked if we don't see either stabalization or upward movement from this point forward. The commodity bull would have to crash for that not to happen, imo.
