RE: My TakeAlthough I don't like some of his bashing, I have to agree partly with Inowhy on this one. With the general market conditions, lower than anticipated revenues (yes currency risk played a significant factor), and the lawsuit, I guessed there would be a pretty strong oush downward. I put a trailing stop, and got out at $4.60 with a 40%+ profit.
I have said it before and will say it again: I love CYT and believe it to be superior to CRYO--just look at the almost double SP. I only had a small position, so from a expense standpoint it was all or nothing situation. This was my version of taking 'a little' off the table. At the same time I needed to look objectively and see what the best option was. I have held on to too many volatile stocks too long when the opportunity costs was another star. I have since put the money in a couple of small biotechs, but plan to be back in the coming months once the dust settles, we get more answers to the lawsuit, and the Afib trial results become apparent.
I will continue to follow this board and hope to get back in at a reasonable level. That was my bet with very limited capital. Was it a good one? Was it timing the market?---certainly to a degree, but given the shape of the overall market these days I'm pretty sure about it. In the short term I believe (hope) I made the right decision. GLTA
