RE: Called Petro Canada
RE: Called Petro CanadaThe spud is imminent, one of the rig handlers (the Maersk Assister) returned to Aberdeen earlier today. The other two (Northern Chaser, Highland Courage) are still offshore, possibly also already on their way back or laying out the last anchors.
Petro Canadas latest find, on an unnamed prospect in block 13/21b, is located about 60km east of Ridgewood. They were drilling it using the same Arctic III Rig that is now in block 15/18a on our Maria prospect. That block is more to the east in a very, very prolific area of the north sea. It was (and is) Oilexcos key area to their success. As you can see on the map, there are alot of fields and significant discoveries (red dots) all around.
