RE: OIL/PRICE..BITEUMEN/PRICE/$52Hi Dog. Heavy oil differential has nothing to do with the bitumen price. Heavy oil is rated at 22 to 25 API. Bitumen is 8 to 10 API. Dil-bit is about 12 API . As of Wednesday Jan/23/2008 Bitumen at Hardisty was priced at $52.30
