For those of our friends from the U.S. that translates to 58 below in Fahrenheit. The ice road will definately be firming up but these extreme temperatures will impact any activity like drilling. Its not just the people who are affected. Metal becomes brittle and just snaps. Lubrication gums up. Just all around nasty. Lets hope the company accepts reality and pulls the crew off for a few days and sends them to Las Vegas or Hawaii to thaw out.
