Element 21 Golf
TORONTO--(Marketwire - January 25, 2008) - Element 21 Golf Company ("e21") (OTCBB: EGLF) (FRANKFURT: BJQ), the manufacturer of advanced Scandium Alloy golf and fishing equipment, announced today that PGA.com rated e21 Golf within the top ten Cool Things seen at the PGA Merchandise Show on day one and day three.
More than 1,200 companies exhibited at the PGA Show last week. PGA.com busily walked the aisles. According to PGA.com, some things, and people stand out from the crowd. Included in their list of top 10 Cool Things that were noteworthy sightings were e21 Hybrids on day 1 and Scandium Shafts from e21 Golf on day 3.
From day 1 -- "e21 Hybrids: The revolutionary material, Scandium (the 21st element on the periodic table, hence the name), is the basis for this golf club that has made quite the reputation for itself as a lighter, stronger alternative to the popular titanium-based golf club (element 22)."
From day 3 -- "Symmetry gets the shaft: From Russia with strength is the e21 Scandium Alloy Shaft. They're almost perfect symmetrically -- 99.5 to 99.9% compared to 85% for steel and 60 to 79% for graphite. Jeff Manore enlisted fellow Toledo native Rick Smith as an endorser and said some PGA Tour Players on the Adams, Callaway, Srixon and Titleist staffs are using the shafts. John Traub, the 1980 Professional National Champion, raved that the shaft "is like swinging through butter." https://www.pga.com/merchandise/2008/news/10cool011908.html
About The Emc2 Hybrids
The sleek design of the Scandium-driven Emc2 Hybrids boasts minimum crown thickness allowing for maximum CG specifications. The Crown Louvers serve as an exceptional alignment aid for improved accuracy. The low weighting internally of the clubs provides a low center of gravity resulting in ease of launching. The open face angle enables a wide range of players to control a straighter shot pattern.
About e21's Scandium Shafts:
Element 21's Scandium Alloy shafts are manufactured using a proprietary 25-step production process to create a seamless, extruded shaft. Variable wall thickness and the alloy's high tensile strength results in a vibration dampening system called ShockBlok™ with 270% better shock attenuation than steel shafts that protects golfers' bodies, bones and joints. Each Element 21 shaft is made from a single piece of Scandium Alloy resulting in unmatched consistency from club to club as well as unprecedented accuracy and an industry leading torque of as low as 1.4 degrees.
