RE: U308 $78/lb.- redwingsI agree with your post and the spot price is probably given too much attention,however the fact remains that it is and therefore can't be ignored. I don't understand the analyst remarks about less than 10% of U308 being sold into the spot market. I posted on DML yesterday about DML arranging to sell 250,000 lbs.U308 for delivery in Dec./07 based on an average spot price. Insofar as the spot price is concerned it is,to my knowledge, based on prices set weekly by two companies who have been at it for some time.They determine the prices from sales made during the week. As such there is no real spot market or price but if I was going to sell some uranium I would be guided by the most recent price determination and so would an investor would wants a feel for where the price is going.
