today''s up to date progress report...Nice
Excellent report and good progress , today by R W
--see stockwatch.com ( for truncated report ) or www.marketwire.com ( full report )
( waiting for full version at S W - usually delayed a few hours from first version )
R W said N R's were imminient
( I had suggested to R W that investors were hungry for a ( construction) report
of the past 6 months to get a feel of where we were)
And realize this will be the first miner to move into strong production
( I now see that he says that )
so is the lead player on the gov't rules.
Everyone is nervous ( and DMM will have huge margins so taxation level is an issue).
Also this will move into a cash flow status and related ( higher ) valuation soon
( say May to Aug )
Or sooner if the Gov't releases a realistic mining "white paper" draft in 60 days
I'd also say many didn't have a feel for where the company is and now we have
status of actual construction
The spin off imo is minor
It is 10% of just the D Goldfields area
It is a way for Telfor to get in on a quality Ecuador area
Telfor is providing the main amunt of money for the exploration
( financing the shell)
So it just accelerates an area and DMM gets to keep 65% of the JV company
without kicking in cash.
It may or may not grow into a mine but we can treat it as a good potential
deposit for Telfor to have chosen it
Look for DMM to maybe spin another small area and monitize it for DMM shareholders
We can also get a step up when the Jerusulem permit gets issued
The rest of D Goldfields area will provide growth for DMM ( a potential 3rd mine )
-drills are busy
Agree with poster that concession review is aimed at small juniors that are
not exploring their properties
Seems to me only CTQ ready to advance to construction and
ARU wants to finish/advance drilling so the take-over bids can come in
for big capital development.
And the gov't rules are crucial to them ( before bids)
btw Are there ANY ( other ) juniors in Ecuador that have M & I & I say a mil oz
at 2 gm or better?
DMM can build a mine at low cost ( as we see ) and have proceeded
-and due to the vein structure and high grade
other good juniors have been
DGC on resource delineation and
RBI on expanding production
( beats the seniors -- HGU is better there)
Lets Rock ! ( Al Bundy ) ( still a fun tv show )
