RE: Concerned

RE: Concerned Hi Gnobrainer, Latest short position VAA - T 2008-01-31 275,000 -121,000 Did you see the trade battle between RBC vs National and TD today? It sure looks like TD has been supporting this stock over the last few days. Not at the level a long would like though. I'm also looking forward to the GWD share transfer into VAA shares being completed. Just today i received a large package from GWD outlining that March 6th is the date for a Final Order Arrangement in the Courtroom, with March 7th being likely the effective date. Not sure why i received it - i transferred in the first tender. There's some hold-outs. There's still the exploration news from last year at Candle Lake that we heard a lot of rumours about and i doubt they'll release that until transfer is done. I thought of selling as well, but i like the 7 million plus share buyback and i don't believe the US economy is going to die in one year, and Peter Marrone, an accomplished leader, has the goal of getting this to a mid-cap producer. Combine this with the excerpt from their latest news release "Vaaldiam believes that its common shares have been trading in a price range which does not adequately reflect the value of such shares in relation to the business of Vaaldiam and its future business prospects." and it would seem highly probable there's upside. I guess we'll see what TD & National continues to do. Good luck. MAK
