ReMac Zinc Corp. ("ReMac") (TSX VENTURE:RMZ) is pleased to announce that Douglas F. Good has agreed to join the board of directors and become President, replacing Bruce M. Briggs. Mr. Good is currently Chairman of Redhawk Resources, Inc. and was President and Chairman of Rochester Resources Ltd. from November 2005 until January 2007 when he relinquished his position as President. Mr. Good remained actively involved with Rochester as Chairman and then Director with corporate development responsibilities until joining Redhawk in November 2007. Mr. Good has an extensive background in providing strategic planning, corporate restructuring, finance and senior management services to a range of companies in the start-up and early development phase. He has served as a director and in senior management positions of various public and private companies in the healthcare, software, mining and automotive industries in the US and in Canada.
The Board of Directors has accepted the resignations of Bruce M. Briggs as President and Charles G. Pitcher as a director and thanks them both for their service in these capacities on behalf of ReMac.
The Board of Directors of ReMac is now comprised of Douglas F. Good, President, Darryl J. Yea, Steven Bastable, J. Stephen Barley and George Tikkanen.
