My guess is that ISA will want to hammer out a deal with Roche while they are strong financially. I'm thinking they release the data results publicly before Roche has time to make up its mind so that the stock price spikes (hopefully). They will then do a financing to raise enough cash to keep going and negotiate with other players just in case Roche opts out. Otherwise I think Roche opts out, the share price spikes down and Roche buys ISA at a price even cheaper than it is today. If ISA can show they are strong, Roche will opt in.
