Finally!Cerebral holders of BNC voice their opinions. The airbag comment is totally appropriate. When it comes to public safety cattle ranchers can scream bloody murder but it will fall on deaf ears because the cost of the vaccine is miniscule compared to the cost of rejected meat. I am not sure where but I remember reading that the vaccine should add about $10 per animal. The problem is not only tainted meat but the contamination gets into the food chain. Most recent example being ecoli infected spinach. So even if you add $20 per animal vaccinating makes sense. The gov't knows that it needs to inspect not just the meat packers but also cattle breeders more stingently. Vaccine will become mandatory for animal health alongwith all the other measures the breeders and processors are required to implement. It may take some time but I feel that this company will reward the patient investor.
