HEALTHPRICER SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH DRUGSTORE.COM(TM) PHARMACY DIVISION DEAL EXPANDS THE PRODUCT SEARCH ENGINE'S COVERAGE OF US PHARMACY PRODUCTS
Healthpricer Interactive Ltd. has signed drugstore.com Inc. to its network of premium trusted on-line health care merchants.
The drugstore.com deal is the most significant U.S. pharmacy agreement signed by Healthpricer allowing consumers to search Healthpricer's website and health partner MarketPlaces for prescription drugs available from U.S. on-line merchants.
"The fact of the matter is that many U.S. consumers prefer to order from U.S. pharmacies, so it's only natural for us to expand our product search to accommodate this market," says Michael I. Brown, president and chief executive officer, Healthpricer Interactive. "Further, we have had requests from syndication partners for U.S.-based pharmacy coverage. Adding drugstore.com to our merchant network is a real feather in our cap and we're pleased to offer their brand and quality service to consumers."
"Healthpricer provides consumers with one of the best on-line product search and comparison shopping experiences for prescription products. We expect this agreement will drive highly qualified traffic to our site and increase our conversion rates," says Ron Kelly, vice-president of pharmacy services, drugstore.com. "As Healthpricer expands its syndication network we expect to continue to reap the rewards of reaching millions of e-health consumers on a monthly basis."
