back about 25 years ago I owned a thousand shares of culliton Gold Mines .worth about a buck a peice,They were taken over by a starup company called Barrick ,so my broker at the time did not like Barrick and advised me to sell,they had too many shares outstanding .so he sold my thousand shares of barrick for about a buck a peice, FROM THAT POINT Barrick has never looked back ,at 40 bucks they have split about five times ,,
