RE: COME ON .. moly. Here is a report that everyone should look at. It is a 24 page Geological Survey that the BC government commissioned Mar. 06 1996, to see what the worth of the Copeland mine was.
Here is the link
https://www.em.gov.bc.ca/DL/ARISReports/24328.pdf
Here are 2 interesting line from the report:
The Mt. Copeland property is a past producer. Between 1970 and 1973 the Mount Copeland Mine produced 1,190,713 kilograms of molybdenum from 169,729 tonnes of ore milled. Probable reserves of 163,000 tonnes containing 1.82% molybdenum are reported on the Mt. Copeland property.
moly4U these numbers indicates that half the ore is gone from the mine, not the 10% that you mentioned. Where did you get the information "100m out of 1000m"?
The property is accessible from Revelstoke by
helicopter. The condition of a road up Hiren Creek to the former millsite to the south of the property is unknown.
Your comment moly was “There is a road (needs to be rehabilitated) right to the property”. Since the BC government does not know the condition of the road could you please be a little more specific as to what you consider “rehabilitated” to mean?
I’m going to side with AuContraire on this one, I don’t trust Management for a second on this whole decision to buy the Copeland property…. from themselves! One the other hand I can see why they would be happy to sell this to Torch.
