RE: Pictures of the last cargo load-voodoo
RE: Pictures of the last cargo load-voodooI didn't say they open hole tested for a week.
Here's a specific timeline to how I think it may have occurred:
If they hit TD on Sunday the 17th, they would have circulated for a while to make sure the hole was clear of cuttings, etc so as to minimize getting stuck in the hole when pulling out. They pull out of the hole, 6000 feet of pipe tripping. Takes 8-12 hours depending on how things progress. Then, on Monday they, if they had the equipment on the rig immediately, they would have run open hole logs. Could take up to 8-10 hours. We must figure into this the time to prepare for the different events that occur. They have a quick look at logs and the geologist gives his analysis from the cuttings, gas detector, etc and they decide to do a DST. Then on Tuesday, they prepare and run a DST on the Lower Forties. Maybe do an 8 hour test. Maybe 15-18 hours duration with haing to run back in the hole. Then, if they had hit anything in the Balmoral sands, they may do a DST there as well. Another 15-18 hours with prep. With the results of the DST's, they decide to run casing to TD and do a longer term DST on multiple zones. This is where you may have saw the boat being loaded with the final run of casing. This can easily take a few days worth of time.
All just a possible scenario.
Voodoo you could be right about casing being sent to the rig on the 13th. That may have been when they ran their surface casing down to maybe 4500 feet. Or maybe they had ran 13 3/8 inches casing to maybe 3000 feet and then the pipe you saw was an intermediate run. Who really knows? Thats a fair bit of pipe and thus would be a load for the boat.
