Dear Sir:
Molybdenum drilling results from Lennac Lake, 45 km east of Smithers, are coming in now and with the additional showings of gold & silver providing some similarities to the nearby former producing Bell mine, there are some intriguing possibilites. Management is hopeful that the intact porphyry system that has been indicated by the results to date can be found with this round of drilling.
Valuation results from the diamond project near Lac de Gras, were negatively impacted by a higher Canadian dollar and accordingly results were marginal. This was particularly disappointing as the 'fancy yellow' diamonds looked as if they could have had a more positive impact on valuations. In all likeliehood this accounts for the current poor market price.
However, we are awaiting the AMEC Preliminary Technical Assessment, due during the second quarter of the year, and that will shed some light on a method of washing the kimberlite prior to processing the diamonds in an effort to reduce costs. This could possibly result in a positive mining scenario and together with some luck from our molybdenum project, Dentonia's valuations could improve in the markets.
With the renewed interest in gold, the Company claims near Detour Lake have become a major focus of management at present and for the near term. Dentonia has spent $1.2 million on the property to date and had excellent results including one intersection showing 14 grams gold over an intersection of 7.7 metres. Different ways to approach the exploration of the property are being investigated.
I hope this answers your question but please call at any time if you would like more details.
