I remember a few years ago he was on market call and a caller started his question with a comment on Paul's hair cut (caller was quite stupid really) and Van Eeden was quite upset and got into the fact that he was giving his advice for free and what is free advice really worth. I got the feeling he was telling the caller that he should take his opinion with a grain of salt. Everytime I see him on bnn I go back to that moment and laugh to myself. Must admit though that if the media scare into rising food/energy prices comes true I'm thinking things could unravel quickly. Lets hope the good times r here for a while. Notice the tsx drop came with the dismal banking news. We need a sound financial sector to move forward. glta!
