Mariana Resources, Dynasty Metals find high-gMariana Resources, Dynasty Metals find high-grade gold intercepts at Macara jv LONDON (Thomson Financial) - AIM-listed Mariana Resources Ltd and Dynasty Metals and Mining said they found high-grade gold intercepts at the Macara joint venture in Ecuador. They said gold mineralization was intersected in three of the eight holes drilled and that the best intercept was 1.7 metres at 33.2 grammes per tonne of gold. Seven of the eight holes were designed to test the continuity of gold grades beneath the old Loma Alta artisanal working where gold grades of up to 42 g/t were obtained in previous sampling. 'The initial drilling at Macara has returned some encouraging, narrow, high grade intersections,' said Mariana's managing director John Sutcliffe. julie.crust@thomson.com jc
