("Victory Nickel" or the "Company") (TSX: NI) (www.victorynickel.ca) today announced that it has been informed by the Government of Manitoba that Manitoba recognizes the validity of the Borehole Licence (the "Licence") issued to the Company on December 14, 2007 and that the Company is in compliance with the terms of the Licence. Drilling on Victory Nickel's Minago nickel property is continuing as planned. The Company is pleased that its drill program at Minago will be able to continue uninterrupted. In total, 4,300 metres of the budgeted 10,000-plus metre diamond drill program is now complete, and drilling is expected to be finished by the end of the winter drilling season.
