Co2 Capture:

Co2 Capture:HTC PURENERGY INC. LAUNCHES THE WORLD’S FIRST PRE-ENGINEERED, PRE-BUILT CO2 CAPTURE SYSTEM – THE “PURENERGY CCS” IN AUSTRALIA Adelaide & Sydney, Australia - HTC Purenergy Inc. (TSXV:HTC) (“HTC”) introduces the world’s most advanced CO2 Capture System that was showcased at the recent Australian- Canadian Premier's Conference held in Adelaide as well as launching earlier in the week to energy industry and business leaders in Australia. The Purenergy CCS – CO2 Capture System was developed in conjunction with the University of Regina’s Green House Gas Technology Centre incorporating over 20 years of CO2 capture testing and product development. The introduction of this technology was featured in conjunction with the second major gathering of Australian and Canadian Premiers. Saskatchewan Environment Minister Nancy Heppner was in Australia attending these meetings and facilitated the launch of the Purenergy CCS. "This was a great opportunity to promote Saskatchewan technology developed by HTC Purenergy and the University of Regina," Minister Heppner said. The Purenergy CCS CO2 Capture System is the world's first pre-engineered, pre-built and modularly constructed CO2 Capture System, which can be retrofitted on existing power plants or any large industrial greenhouse gas emitter facility. HTC’s strategic partner – EESTech Inc. (“EESTech”) (OTC Bulletin Board EESH.OB) which is based in Brisbane, Australia, has recently obtained the licensing rights for the deployment of this technology in Australasia. EESTech also has a complementary technology in its Hybrid Coal Gas Turbine ("HCGT") system that can produce electricity utilizing waste coal, methane and biomass and can be integrated to become the world's first stand-alone hybrid CO2 capture system that is non-disruptive to industrial emitter plants. HTC's preliminary analysis indicates that the successful integration of the HGCT and the Purenergy CCS systems could reduce the cost of CO2 capture by 30-40 percent. The Purenergy CCS will capture carbon dioxide from the flue gas exhaust of power plants and large industrial emitters and the captured carbon dioxide can then be used for CO2 EOR (enhanced oil recovery) or be stored underground," commented Mr. Lionel Kambeitz, CEO of HTC. "This system will be pre-engineered, pre-built and modularly constructed and will be assembled at emitter sites around the world at a much lower cost than other systems that have to be custom built on site”. "Solutions like the Purenergy CCS, when installed in scale on one 750 megawatt power plant, will capture the carbon dioxide equivalent of two million cars and trucks," Mr. Kambeitz added. HTC has developed through its licensing strategic partner – EESTech, significant interest in the deployment and utilization of Purenergy CCS CO2 Capture Systems in Australia.
