Good summary. In my early days I would get excited at a gap up and often when I had some spare cash would jump in right away to ride the wave only to discover that the damn sp would then drop like a stone and i would be out hundreds (or more)on the stock. This is a tough game to play when you are playing with the big boys (and girls) who have unlimited funds and big algorithms to help them.
