RE: RE: How low do we go?Your partly right, ALS it is a credit play, but one thing your failing to see is if your a Conoco (COP) for example and your looking at building a refinery you need a licence. Refineries are longterm projects and nobody wants them in their backyard.
So here comes ALS with a licence to build a refinery.
If your Conoco and the USA is in a recession and oil tanks to $50 to $65 but your presented a refinery licence in North America in Canada a friendly country, you have no option, you build a refinery because the next refinery licence to build a refinery in a friendly country close to home,... will be , ...hmmm who knows.
The deal will get done.
The credit issue will determine what price they will negotiate for NLRC Refinery and the royalty to ALS.
More volitility in ALS shares going forward.
So I wish the Montreal Exchange had options on ALS to right calls and puts $$$
The Deal will get done, so the market will price the credit issue in the market.
